– Go get oil changed in car. Discover a mouse has been stashing food in my air filter compartment. Curse quietly to myself in the waiting room.
– Run a bunch of errands that all seemed to involve spending money (curse quietly to myself in my car). Spend money on a bunch of Spring goodness to make myself feel better…
– Enjoy the lack of rain while cleaning up the landscaping (which is the nice way to say curse quietly to myself while chopping off dead portions of plants).
– Clean house, literally. Think a lot about April SIBC in the process. Time well spent.
– SCORE thriftily…
… and of course no cursing was involved here. I’ve decided I’m thrifting for collection purposes – old fans, wooden spools – while occasionally picking up a super-nifty item like that red case. It’s in great condition, the lining is pristine, zipper works, no odd smells, and only requires some TLC on the handle (which will likely be a solid color of duct tape, or possibly creating a new handle). Presto, instant traveling paper-arts case, for $2.00! (No, the other goodies weren’t already in the case, but wouldn’t that be a score!)
