I’m sitting here at my computer, thinking about being in the creative blues and *why* that is when my life is pretty darn good right now; thinking about what I should be doing next to get out of the blues; thinking I need to stop posting about the crappy feelings and start posting about the good stuff, and suddenly my brain and eyes communicated properly to tell me I’m reading about a possible solution right now, or at the very least a good way to shift my thinking (excerpted from Arlene Arnold’s email bump for TransformationalTools.com, which I often don’t get around to reading):
~~If your contributions energize you, they come from an inner connection–a place of love. If what you are doing makes you tired, you are forcing yourself into a pattern that does not flow. Remember, flow comes from your inner wisdom, not from the outer “shoulds” of life. When your life flows, you become aware of the next step–the next indicated thing. You will see the opportunities you are drawing to you. You will look at life challenges creatively. There are many more solutions that appear when you let go of the usual way of looking at your life. ~~
And then there’s Kelly Rae’s post today: “We just have listen to that thing that calls us and simply, bravely, show up.”
Stop forcing the pattern, the outer “shoulds”.
Let go of my current way of looking at my life (once again, my “shoulds”).
I can do this.
(speaking of “the blues,” that’s the way my thrifty luck as been trending lately – I love this combination of finds from a couple of recent trips. I don’t really decorate in blues but I’m pretty sure I can find homes for all of these goodies!)
