These sunflowers *leaped* into my cart Friday when I stopped for groceries. And I couldn’t say no when the spider mums asked to come along too.
I promptly arranged my treasures in a blue vase (yellow + blue = LOVE), and took them out on the deck for some glamor shots.
The light was shifting and dinner was waiting for my attention so I snapped a few photos and turned off the camera.
Calamity!!!! !!!!! (!!!!!!!) You see, I dropped my camera on the way out the door, the unfortunate loser in the juggle between heavy sliding glass door, vase of flowers, and camera. But it worked just fine until I turned it off – click click click whiiiirrrrrr BEEP BEEP BEEP. Eeeep!
The lens motors out, clicks a few times, motors back in, then the poor dear beeps at me. I tried taking the battery out and putting it back with no luck. Turned it on, turned it off, turned it on, contemplated what kicking it would do and decided that wasn’t a good idea… I’m guessing that smack onto a hard wood deck did some damage.
Sigh. Bigger SIGH. Now to find a good camera repair shop.
