I’m definitely finding ways to squeeze in my creative life in the bits between feeding, changing, entertaining and rocking baby to sleep. Little bits, but bits all the same. It’s not all diaper changing fiascos in this household though some days feel like chaos. = )
Last week I dug out some scrap piles I made a while back (wow, a long way back in Feb. 2011! See end of post), quick little vignettes of papers picked out of my large scrap paper box. These were pulled without much thought or planning, as colors and patterns and textures jumped out and said “Pick me! Pick me! I wanna hang with that one!” When I located them again in my haphazardly organized Nursdio I realized a few needed some additional love, and that they should become artsy greeting cards.
I love making greeting cards – see here, and here (end), and here for some past entries (I’m pretty sure I’ve made some cards since 2011 but either can’t find or didn’t take pictures…) – little bits of art that can be enjoyed as-is or framed if so desired, so it was a logical way to use these little piles of jewels. Now to figure out how to set up Etsy and PayPal so they don’t just sit around here gathering dust…
But that’s a task for another bit of a day.
