Happy Monday! This iPhone pic was taken at my neighbor’s house – they have a pond and get these fabulous little red dragonflies – and then that little red dragonfly let me touch it! TOUCH A DRAGONFLY! I love, love, love dragonflies so this was the coolest thing I’ve done in a long time. Considering Forrest and I were visiting the neighbor because my little snookums was driving me batty yesterday so I decided we should get out of the house and go for a short ride in the stroller, he can drive me batty like that any time.
How was your weekend? I didn’t get the curtains made for the nursery though I should now have all the supplies and can no longer put that off. Matt picked up a kiddie pool and we had fun playing with Forrest in that for a while on Saturday. He wasn’t sure why he was sitting naked in such a big space outside but soon had the hang of splashing, crawling, and enjoying the warm water. On Sunday, after the AWESOME dragonfly encounter, Forrest and I went to visit Linda at her new studio and that was really fun (I bought a piece of her art that Forrest helped pick out and I’ll share when I remember to take a picture…). She has a great new space in her finished garage, with room to work outside all year as well. I couldn’t be happier for her (but I can be envious, I hope we can build our studio/shop someday soon).
This week I need to make curtains, get my act together on a more standard bedtime routine for the Little Tree, and clean the bathrooms. Yay!! (Okay, not like any of that is truly YAY but if I start the week with Yay!! it will only get better, right?)
Have a great week! See you tomorrow for another Haiku…
P.S. Made these pizza wheels for dinner last night. Mine weren’t nearly this pretty but so YUM. I can highly recommend the Classico pizza sauce, too.
