Happy Monday! Forgive the blurry pic but this is one of the first times I’ve had the opportunity to get a picture of one of this year’s fawns, and I was upstairs, zooming in with the iPhone. Could have been worse, I suspect. Isn’t he/she cute?!
We did a lot of this for our 4-day weekend – crawling around yelling loudly, crawling around jabbering madly, playing chase throughout the house, walking (assisted still) outside and inside, climbing stairs, giggling on the pillow, visiting friends and family…I’m exhausted!
We also visited the L.O. Saturday Farmers Market for the first time this year with my dear friend Linda and her dad. I used to go every weekend but now, not so much – too much to do these days! We saw lots of people (Forrest is probably pointing at a dog or another small person), looked at flowers, bought some mushrooms, tomatoes, soup and bacon rolls, and enjoyed the overcast morning before the sun came out.
We played in the water a lot and walked around outside learning about trees and flowers and sky and watching the dog run madly across the yard. We saw this heart rock in our driveway and found some nests in the trees (okay, I saw the heart rock and the nests, but pretty soon he will too!). We visited Kelly Rae’s new studio Friday and crawled around on the floor then Forrest slept a record 11 hour stretch so I had a cup of coffee and toast and read my book for an hour Saturday morning, alone, for the first time in over 11 months, then Sunday another dear friend Liz, along with her guys, watched Forrest for me while I danced… What a weekend.
Here’s to a fabulous week, friends!
